[WORK] BT-AUTO’s Night Work During Power Cut Brownout

    Due to Chinese “dual control of energy consumption” policy, government adopts brownout policy from the end of September.
    There are mainly 3 reasons for the brownout:
1.The coal price rises crazy but electricity price remains. In China, electric power is a public industry which has strong public welfare attributes, government won’t rise electricity prices easily. However, coal fired power would generate electricity at a big loss if the electricity price didn’t rise.
2.The sharp rising of the international commodity prices, and what’s worse, China’s crazy capacity expansion didn’t get profit growth, especially the light manufacturing industry.
3.Prevent inflation risk.
    The following materials were foreign media reports on China’s power rationing policy.
    To commit the promise to the world that China will meet the emission peak in year 2030 and carbon neutrality in year 2060, Chinese most local governments have taken strict-ever actions to reduce release of co2 and energy consumption by restricted supply of electricity power.  Some areas supply 5 days and stop 2 days in a week, some supply 3 and stop 4 days, some even just supply 2 days but stop 5 days, Our company in Guangzhou, policy for Guangdong is that manufacturing operation has been adjusted to “run for 2 days and stop 5 days”. If so, it will be huge effect for production and work.
    In order to make sure all our orders deliver in time and keep normal work as usual, we BT-AUTO have to adjust the work time during the brownout period. So after BT-AUTO team’s serious discussed, we finally decided to work at night, and working time adjusted from 10:00pm to 6:00am. Here thanks so much our company provided very good welfare: everyone’s evening commute fare can be reimbursed, company offered midnight snack, etc.
